Audio Work
I’ve been editing audio as a hobby since I started playing in bands. I have signed NDA’s for most of my notable music, audio, and Foley editing work.
Music Teaching
I teach guitar, bass, and general music lessons. This includes topics like basic to advanced music theory, chord-scale theory, improvisational skills, songwriting (harmony, melody, and lyrics,) active listening, and much more. Any genre you want to play – I can show you how.
I have years of teaching experience: I teach any skill level, from the most bare-boned beginner player to nearly-graduated collegiate music majors. I have experience teaching young children (~5 years of age) to adults of any age. I also have experience teaching children with learning disabilities.
Currently, I teach at the School of Rock in Beacon, and at the Goshen Secure Center in Goshen, New York.
Mixing/Writing
All of the music created by my band, The Field Service, is the result of a collaborative process in the writing, arranging, recording, mixing, and mastering of our own material.
This project has been building for nearly a decade and consists of 5 hometown friends with a shared love for improvisational jam music.
We do nearly everything ourselves from start to finish. A diversified skillset among the members makes it a uniquely fun endeavor to set up a completely home-brew recording studio; it’s akin to a recording studio pop-up.
Music Performance
I am available for live and studio performances. I’m proficient in jazz, blues, rock, funk, bluegrass, and most other genres on guitar, bass, and vocals (lead and harmonies). I look forward to joining you on your next gig.
I’m no stranger to preparing hours of music for cover shows and nights of completely original material.
My band, The Field Service, has performed in New York and beyond for almost a decade. We’ve opened for all sorts of prominent acts; more recently we opened and closed for Phil Lesh’s band at the Capitol Theatre.
